  • I always thought we had our own built in ripeness tester - called a nose! I can't believe that we think it necessary to put so much effort into creating something that will merely add to the cost, increase the amount of handling (and therefore potential damage) of the produce.

  • Couldn't agree more - it's one thing if there are allergies etc but to pander to the undeveloped tastes of children means those tastes will never develop.

  • When blood sugars are awry most people with diabetes undergo quite sweeping personality changes and can often appear drunk. My other half (who is diabetic) is generally the mildest mannered man on the planet but can turn into the incredible hulk in a very short space of time.
